We offer a semi-independent lifestyle. Residents are supported according to their individual needs and they follow a structured timetable incorporating activity choices, daily household tasks and leisure time.

St Saviours is a large four bedroom house situated in St Leonards-on-Sea. It has two spacious bedrooms and a slightly smaller third, which has the option of an additional small sitting room across the landing. The fourth en-suite bedroom is in the attic conversion. All rooms are decorated to reflect the personality and preferences of each resident. The downstairs communal rooms is spacious and the dining room can easily seat six to eight guests when entertaining. The fully fitted kitchen is a shared area and can also be used as an additional dining area. There is a split level back garden – the ground level is used for barbecues and outside entertaining and the higher level has a quiet place for relaxing, with a beautiful view of Eastbourne. Local shops are a five minute walk away, and the town centre only five minute drive.

Our aim at St Saviours is to help our residents enjoy living in the local community and to follow a varied high quality lifestyle which reflects their own personality and choices. Each individual is encouraged to pursue their own hobbies and interests during leisure time and be themselves and relax in their own home after a busy day.

Support for daily tasks and self care would usually be one-to-one. All staff follow our ongoing training program which is designed to ensure all procedures are in line with CQC regulations and are autism specific. There are two members of staff on duty at all times and additional staff time is designed to support one-to-one activities and specific needs identified in reviews and ongoing assessment. There is a sleep-in member of staff and a back-up member on-call for emergencies.

Residents have access to two day service centres offering a wide range of activities which they enjoy the full use of. One specialises in small groups or one-to-one activities, for those with a preference for solitude, and the other offers different activities with more diverse needs including swimming, horse riding, sports, cooking, art and music as well as providing an excellent lunch service.
